Come as you are, even if that means you’re running on very little sleep! I’ll have the studio ready, we’ll go at your baby’s pace, and together we’ll make something beautiful.
A LITTLE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Feeding breaks, cuddles and all.
Newborns have their own ideas about how the day should go, and that’s completely okay. There’s time to feed, change and settle your baby. Nobody needs to apologize for a little fussing.
My Olympia studio is stocked with the wraps, props and backdrops we’ll use. You don’t need to buy a collection of tiny outfits before you come in. And if you’d love parent or sibling photographs, we’ll plan those into your session too.
I’ll guide the posing carefully and pay attention to the small things. Afterward, your selected photographs are retouched by hand, with the care I’d want for my own family.

When to book
Get in touch during pregnancy. We’ll reserve a due-date window and arrange the actual session once your baby arrives.
When we photograph
Ideally within the first three weeks. If your baby is older, please ask anyway—we may still be able to plan something lovely.
Time together
Allow around two to three hours, including the feeding and settling breaks your baby needs.
What’s here
Wraps, outfits, headbands, props and backdrops. A sentimental blanket or little family keepsake is welcome too.

My newborn studio is on Martin Way in Olympia, with wraps, props and a calm place to settle in. I welcome families from Lacey, Tumwater, JBLM and across the 50-mile service area. What happens if my baby won’t sleep?
We take a breath and follow their lead. Feeding, soothing and cuddling are part of a newborn session. If a pose isn’t comfortable for your baby, we’ll choose something else.
Can parents and siblings be included?
Yes! Tell me who’s coming when we plan your session. We can make room for family photographs as well as portraits of your baby.
Do I need to bring props?
No. I have a studio collection ready for us to use. If there’s something personal you would love included, let me know and bring it along.
What if my baby is already here?
Please reach out. Availability will depend on my calendar, but an older newborn can still be photographed beautifully, including with wrapped portraits.
Can I spread the cost?
Payment plans are available on request. Ask me about the options and when your final photographs would be delivered.
Studio or lifestyle: how do I choose?
Studio sessions offer styled portraits, props and professional lighting. Lifestyle sessions take place in your home and use your own surroundings. Explore both and tell me what you’re drawn to.
