20-Min Mini Session
Perfect for families with young children or those who want a shorter, focused session. Mini sessions must take place in Thurston Co, unless the photographer has planned a Special Event at a unique location.

More time to relax, explore different spots, and capture a wider variety of images. Great for larger families or multiple outfit changes. Locations within 25 miles of Olympia are included, small travel fee for further.

All sessions include pre-session consults via email or phone, professional guidance on wardrobe and posing, and an online proofing gallery where you’ll select your favorite images that you’d like to purchase. Digital images are purchased separately from the initial booking fee.

Book Your Date:
Contact Amber to reserve your spot on her calendar, or to find out about any upcoming special events (minis) that she’s booking.
Pay the initial booking fee which secures your date and covers her time, talent, proofing gallery, and local travel.
Plan Together:
We’ll discuss your ideal location, what to wear, and the best time of day for beautiful light. Let Amber know what you’re hoping for, and any specific requests you may have.
Your Session Day:
Relax and enjoy your time together. I’ll guide you into natural poses while capturing genuine interactions and candid moments.
View & Choose:
About a week after your session (sometimes less!) you’ll receive an online proofing gallery where you can select your favorites that you’d like to purchase. You’re in control here, only purchase what you love!
Receive Your Memories:
About 2-3 days later you’ll receive a final gallery of the images you purchased, which have now been fully-retouched and are ready for download. Professionally-printed product options will be presented at this time (this part is completely optional).

You only purchase the images you love. Images are sold in Digital Collections, with the option to purchase professionally-printed products separately. Digital Collections start at $200. This is a separate charge from the Initial Booking Fee. Interest-free payment plans are available on all Digital Collections.

We'll reschedule for a day that works for both of us. There is no rescheduling fee when it's due to inclement weather. I always monitor the forecast closely and stay in good communication.
We will go into detail about wardrobe after your session is booked and the location has been chosen. The time of year, location choice, as well as the dynamics of your family will all influence your wardrobe decisions. And I'm here to help you figure it out!
Mini Sessions are ideal for squirmy toddlers and impatient family members who don't want to be there! They are the perfect choice for updating those annual family photos, or getting your Christmas cards completed and in the mail! Throughout the year Amber holds Special Events where she books multiple mini sessions back to back at different locations. These special events are sometimes themed sessions (ie Christmas, or In-The-Box) or held at unique destinations (ie Mount Rainier or coastal beaches). Full Sessions are more ideal for larger families, or those who want multiple locations, outfit changes, and more variety in their session. In general a full session is the better fit for someone who wants a more slow-paced session.
Absolutely! Pets are family too. Just let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly, as certain locations do not allow animals.
I typically schedule outdoor sessions during the "golden hour", which is the 90 minutes before sunset, for the most beautiful, soft light. Morning sessions are also available.
Within a week after your session (sometimes sooner!) you'll receive an online proofing gallery where you can view the best images from your session and select your favorites that you'd like to purchase. You're in control here! The number of images you purchase is completely up to you - no pressure from me! The proofs you'll be viewing will have been lightly-edited. The images you select for purchase will go on to be fully-retouched to perfection before final delivery. You are welcome to make any requests you might have regarding the final retouching! You'll receive your final, fully-retouched images about 2-3 days after you've purchased them, and they'll be ready for download! If you want to order any professionally-printed products you'll be given options at this time. (This part is completely optional.)
Yes! Interest-free payment plans are available for all digital collections. We'll discuss options if you're interested. Final images are delivered once your Collection has been paid in full.
