FAMILIES · SESSION PLANNING GUIDE
A gentler way to plan family photos.
A few small decisions can make room for a more relaxed afternoon together.
Choose a place your family can enjoy
Think about space to move, the ages of your children and how far you want to travel. An impressive backdrop matters less than a setting where your people can feel comfortable. Ask about permissions before settling on a location.
Dress for being together
Choose clothes you can move in and colors that work together without needing to match exactly. Bring layers for changing weather, and ask Amber for wardrobe guidance once you have chosen your location.
Leave a little breathing room
Build in time to arrive, settle and have a snack beforehand. Let your photographer know about anything that helps your children feel at ease.
